Fletcher Day & Outer Temple Chambers hold popular Employment Law ‘Hot Topics’ seminar

By Andrea London

Fletcher Day's employment team and Outer Temple Chambers were pleased to hold their first employment law seminar at Fletcher Day's Mayfair offices.

Topics included:

  • The GDPR - issues for employers;
  • How to vary contractual employment terms;
  • Restrictive covenants - their meaning and enforceability; and
  • Employment status - workers, employees and the self-employed.

The speakers included Andrea London, Nick Evans and Hollie Whyman of Fletcher Day's employment team, and Lydia Seymour, who specialises in pensions and employment law practice at Outer Temple Chambers.

The well attended seminar was followed by a drinks and canapes reception and an opportunity for attendees to meet the speakers and talk to them about any employment law queries they had. Fletcher Day plans to hold regular employment law 'hot topic' seminars in 2018.
