Shriya Chandarana


Shriya is a Trainee Solicitor in the firm’s dispute resolution team. She assists fee earners on a range of construction and professional negligence disputes. 

Prior to joining Fletcher Day, Shriya worked as a construction paralegal both in-house and at a Top 20 City Firm.


  • Assisting in the case of Mears Ltd v Costplan Services (South East) Ltd & Ors [2019] EWCA Civ 502 in which the Court of Appeal redefined ‘Practical Completion’ for the first time in 50 years.
  • Assisting on projects including HS2 and CrossRail.
  • Assisting in an international arbitration, defending a civil-war related claim worth $13.1b

Shriya is due to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP University (Holborn) in September 2021.
