We act for clients buying or selling properties on auctions and have experts who assist in acquisitions of rural and equestrian property. In all cases, we provide a bespoke service that aims to achieve the best results through a comprehensive understanding of your long-term goals and personal circumstances.

    The firm can offer a comprehensive service from start to finish. If you desire to set up a purpose-built company to acquire the site we have a corporate team who can assist you with this. We can deal with the site acquisition, undertaking the required searches, investigating the title and advising on restrictive covenants. We act alongside your planning consultants to advise on S.106 agreements to enable you to secure your planning.

    How can you help with lease extensions & leasehold enfranchisement?

    We have extensive experience in landlord and tenant matters including advice on both statutory and voluntary lease extensions and leasehold enfranchisement matters. Our experienced solicitors who specialise in this field work closely with firms of specialist surveyors and have full experience dealing with the Property Tribunal on any contested lease extensions and enfranchisement matters. This area of work is also very well supported by our team of experienced property litigators.

    Both our residential property department and our commercial real estate department can deal with variations required to your lease. Whether the variation requires a material amendment, or you want to extend the term of your lease, we can assist with this. We will also liaise with any mortgage lender on your behalf to seek their consent to the changes.

    Sometimes leases require formal consents to be obtained from a landlord and whether you are the landlord or the tenant we have the expertise to assist in drafting the required form of licence.
